'Grabbing a Stock Quote and Integrating it Into Another Webpage' TutorialAlchemyPoint can be utilized to 'grab' any type of arbitrary web content (stock quotes, news articles, etc.) and integrate it into any other website
1. Open your Web Browser to a website that contains stock quote information. In this example, we're searching for the ticker 'MSFT' on www.google.com.
2. Click the Orchestr8 icon in your web browser navigation toolbar, and select "Suggested (..)"->"Page [..]"->"Content Clipping"->"Regular Content"->"Grab Content from this Webpage".
The AlchemyPoint toolbar will now appear, and the web browser will refresh in "Page Edit Mode".
3. The AlchemyPoint Toolbar command entry field will become populated with the command "define as (unique-name) content in". The "(unique-name)" text will become selected and you will be prompted to enter the name to identify this clipped content as. Enter whatever name you prefer (eg, "MSFT Quote").
The Web Browser will now enter "Content Selection Mode". Web page elements will become highlighted as you drag your computer mouse across the Browser window.
4. Hover your mouse over the stock quote information in the current webpage, and click to select.
A selection box will appear around the clicked webpage element, and a popup menu will appear.
5. Click the "Do It!" popup menu.
The webpage will refresh, with a popup display declaring: Content defined as '..'
6. Navigate your web browser to the webpage you desire to insert the previously clipped stock quote information into.
7. Click the Orchestr8 icon in your web browser navigation toolbar, and select "Suggestions (..)"->"Content Clipping"->"Regular Content"->"Insert Content into this Webpage".
The AlchemyPoint toolbar will now appear, and the web browser will refresh in "Page Edit Mode".
8. The AlchemyPoint Browser Sidebar will now appear, displaying any previously clipped pieces of web content. Select the previously defined stock quote (in this case, "MSFT Quote") by double-clicking with your mouse.
The Web Browser will now enter "Content Selection Mode". Web page elements will become highlighted as you drag your computer mouse across the Browser window.
9. Hover your mouse over the webpage element after which you desire the stock quote information to be inserted.
A selection box will appear around the clicked webpage element, and a popup menu will appear.
10. Click the "Do It!" popup menu.
The webpage will refresh, with the stock quote information inserted into the desired location
